Abstract

The present project aims to analyze the importance of labor laws and occupational safety in ensuring a safe, fair, and healthy work environment for employees. Labor legislation plays a fundamental role in protecting workers’ rights, regulating aspects such as working hours, remuneration, working conditions, and safety. According to Delgado (2019), “labor legislation constitutes one of the pillars of social protection, ensuring balance in the relations between capital and labor.” At the same time, occupational safety seeks to minimize occupational risks, preventing accidents and illnesses related to the workplace (MARTINS, 2020).
