Suicidal ideation constitutes a significant public health problem, associated with multiple psychopathological and interpersonal factors. In recent years, network analysis models have been used to understand the complex interaction between symptoms and risk factors. This study aims to review the recent literature on the relationship between suicidal ideation and psychopathological dimensions, with an emphasis on network models. This is a narrative literature review, conducted using searches in scientific databases, including PubMed, SciELO, and Google Scholar, using descriptors related to suicidal ideation, psychopathology, and network analysis. The analyzed studies indicate that anxiety symptoms, interpersonal factors, and emotional variables play a central role in the networks associated with suicidal ideation. Furthermore, the network approach allows the identification of central nodes that can be priority targets for clinical intervention. It is concluded that understanding suicidal ideation through network models contributes to a more integrated view of the factors involved, with relevant implications for clinical practice and the development of preventive strategies.Downloads
