This work analyzes the role of the teacher in the face of new educational trends, considering the technological, methodological, and social transformations that impact the organization of contemporary teaching. The study is based on bibliographic research, drawing on authors who discuss blended learning, active methodologies, pedagogical mediation, and continuous teacher training. The investigation examines how the increased use of digital technologies, the valorization of participatory learning, and the reorganization of training spaces directly influence the teacher's performance. It demonstrates that contemporary teaching requires structured planning, mastery of digital resources, and the ability to integrate theory and practice in a way that is coherent with current demands. Challenges related to continuing education and professional development are also addressed, highlighting the need for permanent updating in the face of educational changes. It concludes that the teacher assumes a strategic role in organizing more dynamic and participatory training experiences aligned with the demands of digital culture, consolidating their function as a qualified mediator of the learning process.
