Abstract

The digital book addresses of a theme that has revolutionized the Brazilian Consensus Justice: The Special Criminal Courts governed by Law 9.099/95, which established the penal transaction in our legal system. It will be searched through the analysis on the relevant material related to the subject, in especial the doctrine, discussing and observing, through the hermeneutic method, critical and reflective, the aspects involving this issue. For this, it is used the methodology of literature research consists, basically, of the reading, annotation and comparison of the main authors of Law who deal with this problem. Given the accentuated number of criminal transactions being offered in the judicial districts throughout the country, we bring here, the complete definition about this institute, as well as its legitimacy of offer. That done, we will see the substantial advances of the consensual justice in our legal system.
