It is necessary to know about strategic management for a better quality of care because this will enable an adequate approach to services and health in any type of environment, whether serious or not. This study aims to understand the management tools for better quality of care in health organizations that can be used for the improvement and dynamism of the continuous improvement of the services provided, allowing the elaboration of mechanisms of how they should be applied today. An interpretative study of other academic works was carried out. Articles on strategic planning, strategic leadership and strategic analysis for healthcare organizations were analyzed. It revealed how fundamental it is to know about management methodologies within the professional scope centered on the services provided and thus be able to apply the necessary resources to improve health organizations, challenging the entire work team involved to a quality development. There are major commitments to improving the health system and the continuous development of increasingly better management. Health services must always improve to provide better care.
