This article aimed to analyze the contributions of physiotherapy combined with health education in the management of chronic pain within Primary Health Care. An integrative literature review was conducted, with a systematic search in LILACS and MEDLINE, covering publications from 2021 to 2026. Studies addressing combined interventions of physiotherapy and health education were included, considering different methodological designs, such as qualitative research, intervention studies, clinical trial protocols, and guideline reviews. Seven studies met the eligibility criteria and were analyzed. Results showed that programs combining therapeutic exercise and health education promote pain reduction, improved functionality, increased treatment adherence, and enhanced patient self-care. Group interventions and digital-mediated programs demonstrated potential to expand access and sustain positive effects in the short and long term. Despite methodological heterogeneity among the studies, findings highlight the importance of patient-centered strategies and the role of physiotherapists in Primary Health Care. It is concluded that integrating physiotherapy and health education represents an effective and promising approach, recommended for clinical practice, public health policies, and future research to strengthen the evidence base in this field.country.
