Abstract

Introduction: In recent years, the main agenda in companies has been the health and safety of employees, which is intrinsically linked to the principles of legal medicine applied to the work environment. Objective: This work aims to provide knowledge about workers' rights, with a focus on preserving their health and safety in the context of legal medicine. Methodology: An Integrative Literature Review was carried out, exploring various aspects related to labor rights, occupational health and safety at work from the perspective of legal medicine. Final Considerations: The adoption of an Integrated Management System, anchored in legal medicine, emerges as a fundamental tool to guarantee people's health and compliance with standards and procedures. Furthermore, this approach not only strengthens availability and production in companies, but also contributes to greater profitability and competitiveness in the market. Continuous respect for the principles of legal medicine and valuing the well-being of employees must be constant priorities in all organizations.
