This study analyzed the evaluation by science teachers in the municipality of Paulista/PE in 2025 regarding the potential of non-formal learning spaces to enhance the teaching and learning process of classroom content. This quantitative, descriptive research involved twenty-six teachers answering a structured questionnaire with eight questions during continuing education provided by the Paulista/PE city hall. The study addressed the use of these non-formal spaces, the content experienced, and the possibilities they offer to facilitate the teaching and learning process for students. The results indicated many logistical difficulties. Those teachers who were able to utilize these environments assessed that students interact more with new knowledge and with their peers in these spaces, contextualizing the knowledge studied in the classroom. It was concluded that non-formal educational spaces are necessary to facilitate the teaching and learning process and that the municipality of Paulista needs to streamline the logistics to ensure greater utilization and learning of the studied content.
