This article analyzes the impacts of the Paredão System on reducing vehicle theft in Manaus between 2021 and 2025, examining its contribution to strengthening police intelligence, modernizing operational practices within the Military Police of Amazonas (PMAM), and generating broader social effects. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on document analysis, bibliographic review, and critical interpretation of recent research on surveillance technologies, public security governance, and urban crime, including works by Das Neves, Polari and Aguiar (2025), Cavalcante, Aguiar and Polari (2025), and De Paula et al. (2025). The findings indicate that the Paredão System significantly reduced the circulation time of stolen vehicles, increased recovery rates, and heightened offenders’ perception of risk, contributing to a substantial decline in crime indicators. Additionally, improvements were observed in the population’s sense of safety, urban mobility, and citizen protection, demonstrating that the technology positively influenced daily life in the city. The study concludes that the Paredão System represents a strategic innovation in public security in Amazonas, integrating technology, intelligence, and governance to produce lasting results.
