The CCJ (Council and Justice Committee) and the Environment Committee are two permanent committees of the Legislative Assembly, whose function is to approve or reject state bills. The objective of this article is to analyze the specific attributions that guarantee the control of the legality and sustainability of the matters under consideration. The CCJ exercises the role of examining the constitutionality, legality and legality of legislative proposals, while the Environment Committee is dedicated to the evaluation of projects and actions related to environmental preservation, sustainable development and the state's environmental policy. This paper focuses on analyzing the oversight role within the legislative structure of the ALE-RO, identifying how and to what extent they contribute to the effectiveness of legislation and to the protection of public interests, especially with regard to the legal order and environmental sustainability
