FORENSIC INVESTIGATION AND CRIMINAL EXPERTISE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW AND ANALYSIS OF STUDIES
Abstract
Forensic investigation and criminalistics are fundamental areas for solving crimes. With the advancement of technology and investigative techniques, professionals involved in these areas have at their disposal a series of tools and knowledge that assist in the collection and analysis of evidence for solving crimes. However, despite the advances, there are still many challenges to be faced in this area, such as the lack of adequate equipment and technologies, the need for training and qualification of professionals, and the complexity of criminal cases. Given this scenario, it is essential to constantly seek to improve forensic investigation and criminalistics, identifying best practices and the main challenges faced in practice. This article aims to identify the main challenges faced by forensic investigation and criminalistics, analyze the importance of integrating different areas of knowledge, identify best practices for carrying out these activities, and evaluate the impact of using modern technologies and equipment in forensic investigation and criminalistics. A systematic literature review and analysis of case studies and interviews with professionals involved in these areas will be conducted to identify the main challenges and best practices in forensic investigation and criminalistics. This study aims to contribute to improving the effectiveness and reliability of criminal investigations and forensic examinations. The methodology includes a systematic review of the literature on forensic investigation and criminal expertise, as well as on the modern technologies and equipment used in these areas.Downloads
