This article aimed to analyze the perception of quality of life of women with pelvic organ prolapse (POP) treated at a Family Health Unit (USF) in the East Zone of Manaus-AM. A cross-sectional, descriptive, and exploratory study was employed, with a mixed, quantitative-qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using the Citizen's Electronic Medical Record, selecting a non-probabilistic and intentional sample of 25 women with POP. A semi-structured questionnaire was applied, and a conversation circle was held with 9 participants, allowing for personal narratives about their experiences. The results revealed that women with POP have low quality of life and a higher risk of physical, mental, social, and work-related complications. Symptoms such as urinary incontinence and a sensation of heaviness or vaginal pressure were strongly associated with impairments in well-being. The findings allowed for an understanding of the perception of the women treated and point to the need for strategies aimed at improving quality of life.
