This article aimed to analyze the use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Human Resources, especially its effects on modernizing recruitment and selection processes for new employees, since the facilitated access to data and the multiplicity of digital platforms have profoundly transformed how companies operate, make decisions, and position themselves in the market. In this scenario, the Human Resources area has also undergone a revolution, incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize processes such as recruitment, selection, performance analysis, and talent management. The methodology used was to search the literature for articles that supported the proposed theme. The Google Scholar website was used as a database for the theoretical framework. It is concluded that the incorporation of digital tools and intelligent systems has made recruitment and selection processes more agile. Investing in continuous training and adopting a critical stance towards the risks of algorithmic biases tends to ensure that technology acts as an ally, complementing and contributing to the people management sector in creating more diverse, human, and innovative environments.
