Abstract

The study examined the benefits perceived by educators and students regarding the use of digital media in learning, considering the changes caused by technology in the school environment. The research problem sought to identify which benefits were recognized by those involved in the educational process. The general objective was to analyze these perceptions, based on a bibliographic research methodology. The development discussed the role of digital media in contemporary education, the increase in student engagement, the diversification of pedagogical strategies, and the changes in interactions between teachers and learners. The findings indicated that digital media contributed to more dynamic and collaborative teaching practices aligned with current societal demands. In the final considerations, it was found that educators perceived greater ease in pedagogical mediation and personalization of learning, while students demonstrated increased motivation, autonomy, and understanding of the content. It was concluded that the use of digital media enriched the teaching and learning process, while highlighting the need for further studies to deepen these findings in different educational contexts.
