The study analyzed the integration of different digital media into school and university curricula, considering their influence on contemporary pedagogical practices. The research was guided by the problem of how these media were incorporated into academic curricula and what contributions they offered to teaching and learning processes. The general objective was to understand how the diversification of digital media was articulated within curricular dynamics in basic and higher education. A bibliographic research methodology was used, enabling the identification and examination of theoretical contributions related to the topic. The development discussed the main types of digital media, their applications, and their relationship with active methodologies, student engagement, and pedagogical innovation. The findings indicated that digital media expanded methodological possibilities, supported more contextualized learning, and fostered student autonomy. The final considerations showed that their integration represented a necessary movement to align curricula with the demands of the digital society, although challenges regarding teacher training, infrastructure, and institutional practices persist.
