Abstract

This study aims to discuss the possible causes of burnout syndrome in basic education teachers. This is an article that resulted from bibliographical research with emphasis on scientific productions that refer to the burnout syndrome in teachers, arising from the mapping of research published in ​​Education and Health. Scientific studies reveal that the burnout syndrome in teachers it is one of the leading examples of a directly work-related disorder.
