Bell’s palsy is a peripheral neuropathy that affects the facial nerve, resulting in sudden and unilateral paralysis of the face. This condition compromises not only motor and sensory functions but also esthetic aspects, directly impacting patients’ self-esteem and quality of life. In the field of Dentistry, management is not limited to diagnosis and referral but also includes the use of Orofacial Harmonization techniques as a complementary strategy for esthetic and functional rehabilitation. Procedures such as botulinum toxin application, dermal fillers, and collagen biostimulators have shown efficacy in attenuating asymmetries, improving facial balance, and providing psychosocial benefits. This study, based on a literature review published in the last five years, analyzes the interface between Bell’s palsy and Dentistry, particularly regarding Facial Harmonization, highlighting the role of the dental surgeon in the esthetic and functional management of affected patients. The findings indicate that although there are limitations concerning standardized protocols and the durability of outcomes, Orofacial Harmonization represents a relevant tool in dental clinical practice, contributing to the comprehensive health of patients.
