This article aimed to understand the relevance of early intervention in addressing delays in child development, highlighting its importance as a policy for promoting health and inclusion. The objective was to reflect on the positive impacts of educational and interdisciplinary interventions carried out in the early years of life, considering the cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions of the child. The research adopted a qualitative methodology, based on a bibliographic review of authors such as Vygotsky, Piaget, Freire, Wallon, and Bronfenbrenner, as well as official documents like the BNCC and the National Policy on Special Education. The results indicated that early intervention contributes to children’s global development, enhancing learning, strengthening family bonds, and preventing cognitive and behavioral delays. It was found that the success of these actions depends on teacher training, networking, and the sensitive listening of professionals involved. It is concluded that early intervention should be understood as a social and human investment, essential to ensure children’s right to comprehensive development and to consolidate inclusive and quality education.
