Working with projects is justified by the construction of children's knowledge, with the main objectives being to reflect on methodology and investigate new paths in pedagogical practice, valuing new discoveries and seeking to integrate pedagogical practice with the needs of the child. From this perspective, this work addressed the development of socio-emotional skills in early childhood education, aiming to reflect on, enable, and guide the expression and management of emotions. The work was developed at the Emília Freire de Lima Municipal School, located in the city of Goianinha/RN, in classes of levels III, IV, and V. During the development of the project, it was possible to perceive that creating mechanisms for the construction of emotional autonomy contributed to the construction of new relationships, with respect for diversity and solidarity towards others.
