This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the complex and irreverent phase of adolescence, taking into account the biopsychosocial and spiritual factors that will guide the paths individuals follow, but without determining their future. Following the approach of logotherapy, human beings are capable of deciding what to do in the face of the scenarios life imposes on them. In other words, individuals may not be free from challenging situations, but they are free to decide how to respond to them. There will always be possibilities to be explored, and to learn to make effective decisions, human beings need to understand how to measure the consequences of their choices. There is no better time in life than adolescence. Although considered a critical phase, it is also a time ripe for new experiences and opportunities. When experienced responsibly, these will contribute to the construction of a conscious and fruitful future, optimizing their emotional structure. Therefore, a narrative literature review method was used, using the Pepsico and Scielo databases from the last 10 years, as well as specialized and classic literature.
