Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of incorporating socioemotional skills into legal education, in light of Brazilian constitutional principles such as human dignity, pluralism, and integral education. The research discusses the challenges of traditional legal education, which is focused on the transmission of technical and normative content, and the need to rethink the curriculum by integrating active and interdisciplinary methodologies. The study highlights the benefits of a legal education model that promotes the ethical, critical, and emotional development of students, preparing professionals to face the complexities of contemporary legal practice.
