Abstract

This e-book was created to present and describe, in detail, the photographs of the teaching materials used in the Multifunctional Resource Room (SRM) of the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA) – Porto Seguro Campus.

The initiative arose from the need to make visible and accessible this set of materials that contribute significantly to the teaching and learning process of Special Education students enrolled in Basic, Technical, and/or Technological Education. Produced in an accessible format for people with visual impairments (VI), the material seeks to bring them even closer to the academic environment, ensuring they can learn about, understand, and interact with the resources that strengthen educational inclusion.

Besides its accessibility function, this e-book also serves as an outreach to society at large, presenting the importance of SRMs and valuing the diversity of pedagogical strategies used in Specialized Educational Services (SEAs).

The materials described here can also inspire elementary and higher education teachers to use similar resources in both regular and specialized classrooms, expanding the possibilities for inclusive practices and contributing to quality education for all.

Therefore, this e-book serves as a record, a guide, and, above all, an invitation to reflect on the role of accessibility and pedagogical innovation in building an inclusive school.
