This study aimed to analyze how sport can be used as a tool for social inclusion in different contexts, especially among vulnerable populations. To this end, a descriptive and exploratory narrative literature review was conducted, based on the analysis of scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025 and available in national databases. The selection process considered thematic relevance, free access, and full availability of the texts as criteria, resulting in 37 studies, five of which were included in the final analysis. The results showed that sport contributes significantly to promoting socialization, self-esteem, autonomy, and strengthening community ties. Furthermore, it has proven effective in including people with disabilities, reducing social stigma, and promoting healthy behaviors. The central role of physical education professionals, whose pedagogical work favors the creation of inclusive environments, and the relevance of public policies that expand access to sports practices were also highlighted. It is concluded that sport, when articulated with inclusive pedagogical practices and consistent policies, constitutes a powerful tool for social transformation, contributing to the construction of a more just, democratic society aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
