This article aimed to analyze the importance of continuous teacher training for the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, highlighting the challenges faced and the strategies used in the school environment. The main objective was to understand how the permanent updating of teachers can contribute to more inclusive and effective pedagogical practices. The research was conducted through a qualitative bibliographic approach, based on the analysis of books, scientific articles, and normative documents related to inclusive education. The results showed that continuous training increases teachers’ confidence and creativity, favoring the adoption of differentiated methodologies and the proper use of pedagogical and technological resources. It was also found that training contributes to the deconstruction of stigmas associated with autism, strengthens the bond between school and family, and encourages the development of more humanized practices. It is concluded that permanent training is not only a necessity but also an institutional commitment, essential to transform the school into a democratic, welcoming, and diversity-oriented space.
