Abstract

This article aimed to investigate the application of neuropsychology in the continuing education of education professionals, with the goal of improving pedagogical effectiveness and promoting a more inclusive education. The methodology employed was bibliographic in nature, analyzing secondary sources from books, scientific articles, and academic documents. The main results indicate that neuropsychology provides essential tools for the early identification of learning difficulties and for adapting pedagogical practices to the individual needs of students. However, challenges such as the lack of specific training and resource scarcity still limit the implementation of these practices. The conclusion suggests that despite the obstacles, neuropsychology has significant potential to transform education, provided that public policies are adopted to encourage continuing education and promote integration between neuropsychologists and educators.
