The article is part of a master's research project in educational sciences at the Universidad Del Sol, which sought to understand the relationship between information technologies and their use in teaching the subjects that make up the high school curriculum in the municipality of Toritama in the state of Pernambuco during the Covid-19 pandemic. The aim was to analyse affirmative teaching and learning actions in the context of high school classes in the context of the pandemic and with the use of digital resources. The methodology is qualitative and bibliographic in nature, with data collected in the field by applying eight questionnaires with closed questions to a population of one hundred informants, all of whom were included in the sample. The results showed that the pandemic period was necessary for the two schools to experience the power that ICTs have over education. It is therefore concluded that not only the schools surveyed, but also society and public authorities, should increasingly value teachers and their teaching skills, as they are not limited, and they are the main actors who have been at the forefront of the remote teaching process during the pandemic.
