This work examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on educational innovation, highlighting the opportunities and challenges brought by this new scenario. The integration of AI into pedagogical practices represents not only a technological advance, but also a profound transformation of educational paradigms. Digital tools, when implemented ethically and strategically, enable the personalization of teaching, adapting content and methods to the specific needs of students and promoting more inclusive, dynamic, and collaborative learning environments. The literature highlights that teachers play a central role in this process, with ongoing training and capacity-building in emerging technologies being key factors for the successful adoption of AI in the school environment. Flexible curricula, active methodologies, and accessible resources—such as virtual tutors and interactive platforms—help to increase equity and the quality of education. On the other hand, the study points out important challenges, mainly related to data privacy, the risk of depersonalizing teaching, and the widening of digital inequalities. The analysis underscores the need for public policies and clear regulations to ensure data protection and promote equitable access to technologies. It also emphasizes the importance of an ethical debate involving educators, students, families, and specialists for the formulation of responsible guidelines.
