This article sought to show the importance of Labor Unions in the professional and social life of Workers, specifically in Brazil, especially after the changes regarding Law 13.467/17 and how these union entities had to reorganize themselves to fund themselves without the so-called Union Tax. The law in question brings some important and significant changes to labor relations in the country. This work contextualizes from the era of the first industrial revolution, emphasizing the first workers' organizations, to labor union entities after the law in question, so that we can understand the importance of workers' organizations. It also sought to show how these changes changed the importance of labor union entities in salary negotiations between Workers and Employers, through the Collective Labor Agreement and/or Collective Labor Agreement. On the other hand, the so-called “labor reform” sets a precedent that these labor negotiations or labor achievements can only exist if professional unions are fully capable of negotiating on an equal footing with employers, thus seeking to bring workers closer together, regardless of whether or not they are members of class entities. All of this will change the relationship between Workers and Class Unions.
