This bibliographic research analyzed the impacts of active methodologies mediated by technologies on the education of the next generation of students. The study started from the problem of how these methodologies are transforming teaching and learning, considering the advancement of educational technologies. The general objective was to understand the contributions of emerging technologies to contemporary education and the challenges of their implementation. To this end, academic references that discuss the role of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and gamification in teaching were explored, as well as their relationship with the personalization of learning. The development addressed the transition from traditional teaching to models based on interaction and student protagonism, highlighting the benefits of digital technologies for student engagement and autonomy. In addition, the structural and pedagogical challenges faced by educational institutions in adopting these methodologies were discussed, including the need for teacher training and adequate infrastructure. The results indicated that, although active methodologies favor more dynamic and contextualized learning, their effective technological integration still depends on investments in teacher training and the adaptation of educational spaces. It was concluded that, despite the advances, there is a need for additional research to understand the impacts of these methodologies in different educational contexts and to explore strategies that favor their widespread implementation.
