Teacher training, without detracting from other forms of training, is one of the most important forms of higher education in Brazil, given that it trains professionals who, in their teaching practice, after graduating, will train citizens to contribute to society not only professionally, but also as a human dimension, in other words, they will train for life and not just for the job market. In this way, the supervised internship is one of the fundamental activities for teacher training. According to the National Education Council (CNE), the supervised internship is a compulsory component of teacher training courses, and is therefore of significant importance to the teacher's initial training, since it puts the trainee in touch with the school reality that was theoretically dealt with during their lessons. In this way, the supervised internship enables a relationship between theory and teaching practice. In this sense, the aim of this paper is to summarize the experiences (observations and practices) of an academic during her supervised internship on a Pedagogy. Methodologically, we used bibliographical analysis and review, based on some authors who work on the theme of supervised internships.
