This study investigated the impact of technology on education, focusing on its role in the socio-emotional development and learning of students at, in Fazenda Rio Grande, during the years 2023 and 2024. The increasing integration of digital technologies into the school environment necessitates a critical analysis of their effects on both academic performance and students’ emotional and social development. The research adopted a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective, aiming to understand the participants' perceptions and experiences. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires administered to 5th and 6th-grade students, teachers, and parents, selected through intentional non-probabilistic sampling. The results indicated that technology can serve as an ally in personalizing learning and fostering engagement, but it also presents challenges such as digital dependency, difficulties in socialization, and the need for continuous teacher training. Additionally, the analysis revealed gaps in the school's technological infrastructure, which affect the effectiveness of digital resource utilization. The study concludes that a balanced integration of technology and traditional methods, combined with adequate pedagogical support, is essential to maximize the benefits of digital tools without compromising students' holistic development.
