The research investigated the contribution of Adapted Physical Education (EFA) to the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD), highlighting its role in well-being and social integration. This is a bibliographic study based on the analysis of scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025, using databases such as Google Scholar and the PRISMA methodology for selecting studies. The results showed that EFA promotes social inclusion, motor, and cognitive development, in addition to strengthening the self-esteem and socialization of PwD. Sports have proven to be fundamental in promoting mental health and reducing attitudinal barriers. However, challenges such as the lack of specialized teachers, integrated infrastructure, and teacher resistance to adapting activities persist. The research concludes that EFA is essential for inclusion, but its effectiveness depends on investments in teacher training, accessible infrastructure, and inclusive pedagogical strategies. The implementation of educational policies focused on accessibility can guarantee the active participation of PcD, contributing to a more equitable and inclusive society.
