In this way, it is configured as a comprehensive bibliographic review paper. Methodologically, the analysis was based on data collection, from different publications between the years 2018 and 2024. In total, based on what was aimed at, 13 articles were selected that address the defining aspects of this sampling. The research results revealed that, in addition to structural barriers and digital exclusion, EJA needs adaptive and inclusive pedagogical strategies to serve a diverse audience. The analyzes also highlighted the urgent need for public policies that promote inclusion and guarantee a greater right to education. Therefore, the need to reinvent EJA is necessary and urgent, including the ability to adapt to the demands of the post-pandemic context, notably through more inclusive and participatory educational policies.
