Objective: This study analyzed the epidemiological profile of syphilis acquired in the metropolitan region of Belém (RMB) between 2013 and 2023. Method: Data from SINAN and DATASUS were used to identify prevalence in relation to sex, age group, race/color and education. The data were tabulated and described through statistical analysis, using the analysis of variance test (ANOVA) and the Chi-Square test, with presentation in graphs and tables, using Microsoft Excel 2010 spreadsheets. Results: In the period analyzed, 2,119 cases were reported, revealing a significant increase in cases, especially in 2022, possibly related to the impacts of the pandemic, expressing a greater concentration in Belém (87.3%). The majority of cases occurred among men (63.7%), mixed race (75.9%) and young people aged 20 to 39 (58.2%), with incomplete education being common (38.3%). Conclusion: Therefore, these data reflect inequalities in access to education and health, highlighting specific vulnerabilities, reinforcing the need for targeted strategies, such as improving access to diagnosis and treatment of the disease, health education and prevention campaigns.
