This article aims to analyze the relationship between the use of ChatGPT and the training process of Software Engineering students at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas - Manaus Campus East Zone. Identifying what are the benefits and harms of using the platform in the educational context. For this, a case study was used as a method, with the application of a questionnaire composed of closed questions. The research was carried out with finalist students, that is, from the eighth period of Software Engineering, since these undergraduates have more experience in the course than the other classes. Fuzzy logic was used to analyze the participants' answers, as it is more malleable than traditional Boolean logic and resembles human perspectives more. The results of this study indicate that although software engineering students often use the ChatGPT platform for quick research, they still have some fear and concerns, especially with the risk of overdependence and risk of plagiarism when using it to carry out academic activities.
