In Brazil, the SUS offers a model of Primary Health Care (PHC) that allows the first contact with adolescents at risk of eating disorders, promoting a humanized and comprehensive approach. In this context, nurses play an essential role in the early identification, health education and monitoring of these young people. The present work aims to analyze the role of nurses in primary health care in the management of eating disorders in adolescents. The methodology used consisted of qualitative research of a descriptive nature. Data were obtained from reliable sources such as Scielo, PubMed, LILACS, MEDLINE and Virtual Health Library (VHL). Articles published between 2014 and 2024 were included. 80 articles were found that met the pre-established search criteria. 64 articles that did not meet the study's specific criteria were excluded. After applying these criteria, 15 articles remained that were analyzed and discussed in depth. Finally, it was concluded that nurses play a central and multifaceted role in the management of eating disorders in primary care, acting as educators, caregivers and facilitators of health processes that directly impact the quality of life of adolescents. The strategic role of nurses in primary care contributes to a proactive and effective approach in coping with these disorders.
