This study addressed the issue of using multimedia resources, particularly Digital Storytelling, in education. The general objective was to investigate strategies for utilizing these tools in early childhood education and other educational contexts. The methodology adopted was bibliographic, allowing for a thorough analysis of existing practices and methods in literature. The development of the work revealed that the use of multimedia resources contributed to student engagement and the enhancement of cognitive and social skills, while also highlighting the importance of teacher training and adequate infrastructure. The final considerations emphasized the need for ongoing training for educators and the significance of a conducive environment for integrating digital technologies. The study also indicated the need for further research exploring different educational contexts and the effectiveness of these tools in student learning.
