Abstract

This article seeks to address a topic of growing impact that is still insufficiently debated in legislative and judicial environments, but that impacts the lives of millions. The use of religion and Faith to manipulate and extort the masses. Under the apex of the Federal Constitution of the rights guaranteed by the UN and what can be extracted from the Penal Code, it seeks to understand how legal regulations are positioned between the dilemma of religious freedom in the face of everything and the limits of religious practice and consequently the impact of religious practices. conduct in the lives of millions of Brazilians through qualitative and bibliographical research using as a basis books, scientific articles, jurisprudential understanding and norms, pointing out that Brazilian jurisdiction still does not present specific legislation and a consistent response to such questions, further demonstrating the urgency of debate on this topic.
