Abstract

This study analyzes the integration of active methodologies in the contemporary educational context, marked by the advancement of digital technologies. The increasing insertion of these technologies in pedagogical practices has the potential to transform teaching, making it more interactive, collaborative and student-centered. However, the main problem investigated was the difficulty teachers have in adapting their practices to the use of these technological tools, which, despite offering several opportunities, also impose significant challenges in the teaching-learning process. Through a bibliographical research, the principles of active methodologies, the application of digital technologies in teaching and the main obstacles faced by teachers were explored. Technical challenges were identified, such as the lack of familiarity with digital tools and the need for continuous training of teachers, as well as pedagogical challenges, including the restructuring of the curriculum and the management of new dynamics in the classroom. In addition, resistance to change and the need for adequate infrastructure stand out as critical factors for the success of the integration of technologies. The results indicate that, although the incorporation of technologies can enrich active methodologies and promote more dynamic teaching, their effectiveness depends on continuous and specialized support. It is essential that educational institutions invest in teacher training programs and in providing adequate technological resources so that teachers can develop the skills necessary to effectively use these methodologies. Future studies should focus on practical teacher training strategies and on assessing the impact of technologies on pedagogical practice, contributing to innovative education aligned with the demands of the 21st century.
