This article examines the normative force of constitutional principles in the context of neoconstitutionalism, investigating the relationship between principles and legal rules, as well as the practical implications of this approach in the application and interpretation of constitutional norms. The research adopts a theoretical methodology, based on bibliographic analysis and interpretation of case law, aiming to understand the role of principles in shaping a new legal order that prioritizes the realization of fundamental rights.
