This study aims to analyze the main challenges and difficulties faced in the inclusion of technologies in the daily routines of educators. To gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and difficulties related to remote education and the integration of technologies in teachers' everyday practices, interviews were conducted with two teachers working in different areas of basic education. During the interviews, objective and subjective questions were asked about the training of these professionals and the barriers they face when incorporating digital tools into teaching. The interviews revealed that the use of digital technologies can strengthen student agency, facilitate the adoption of active methodologies, and promote greater engagement, but it also requires teacher training and proper infrastructure to be effective. Therefore, investing in teacher training is essential to ensure quality education that is aligned with current challenges. The advancement of technologies is changing the dynamics of teaching and learning, making it imperative for educators to be prepared to use them effectively and efficiently, aiming for an educational environment more connected to contemporary demands. Balancing the use of technologies with traditional practices is crucial to ensure that innovation brings concrete improvements to the teaching and learning process in Brazilian educational institutions.
