Abstract

This article sought to analyze the evaluation of the Dance and Leisure course, in the distance learning modality, offered in a public policy for leisure and health. This evaluation allows us to reflect on how the learning acquired through distance learning enables teams to be trained in important topics for professional practice. In general, in the quantitative analysis, students of the “Dance and Leisure” courses positively evaluated the content of the materials, the distance learning platform and the professionals involved in the course. The qualitative analysis that investigated the significant learning acquired and pointed out by the students identified the analysis category: “Professional Practice” with the registration units: “Qualification of Practice”, “New Knowledge” and “Project Preparation”. It was possible to conclude that students value the new knowledge acquired through the course and this knowledge qualifies their actions in the day-to-day of professional practice.
