Abstract

Psychomotricity, a term that combines psychological and motor elements, plays a crucial role in improving learning outcomes and overall student development. The integration of psychomotricity into school physical education programs has gained momentum in recent years due to its proven benefits. This article will delve into the importance of psychomotricity in school physical education, the key principles underlying its effectiveness, strategies for successful implementation, case studies that demonstrate its success, and challenges and future considerations for widespread integration. Psychomotricity in school physical education encompasses the integration of psychological processes with physical movement to enhance students’ cognitive, emotional, and social development. Research has shown that incorporating psychomotricity into physical education programs can lead to improved concentration, memory retention, and overall academic performance.
