This text is the result of research developed within the Postgraduate Program in Education and Technology – PROFET/IFPI. The starting point was in the form of a concern: what inclusion actions, based on the Teaching, Research and Extension tripod, did the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Maranhão - Campus Barra do Corda, develop together with the indigenous communities of the territory municipal, in the period 2020-2023?. Methodologically, it is configured as a case study, of a descriptive and analytical nature, with a qualitative approach.Complementing this script is the collection, listing and tabulation of research, teaching and extension work with the indigenous public, developed within the scope of IFMA Barra do Corda, based on its institutional records and reports, in the period from 2020 to 2023. 14 research and extension projects developed during this period were identified, where despite the low participation rate of indigenous students, the projects had a broad contribution to local communities, based on the intended themes and objectives.
