The present study is an experience report of a mandatory supervised internship in group processes of the psychology course focused on serving autistic children and those with other neurodivergent conditions. The objective of this report is to present the activities developed from a critical analysis of practices based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In this way, we seek to contribute to the dissemination of psychological knowledge applied to autism. One of the focuses of the internship was observing and acting in the context of group activities carried out with autistic children. Activities were developed to stimulate cognitive, behavioral, and educational development. It is concluded that group dynamics have emerged as an effective strategy to encourage the development of children's social skills in the social context. However, it is important to manage the contingencies in force in the group therapeutic environment so that the activities are increasingly reinforcing. for.children.
