His study aimed to explore the impact of gamification, when combined with digital technologies, on student engagement and motivation in the educational environment. Utilizing a qualitative methodology with an extensive bibliographic review of publnn ications from 2000 to 2024, academic articles and research on the effectiveness of these practices were analyzed. The results indicate that the integration of game elements and digital technologies can significantly increase student engagement and improve motivation through interactive platforms and reward systems. However, challenges such as balancing external rewards with intrinsic motivation and ensuring technology accessibility for all students were identified. The conclusions highlight that the combination of gamification and digital technologies has the potential to enrich the educational experience and promote a more dynamic and engaging learning environment. Future research is recommended to investigate the long-term effects and the effectiveness of different types of technologies and gamification strategies in various educational contexts.
