EDUCATIONAL TRENDS AND THE ROLE OF THE TEACHER

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the potential of new educational trends and the role of theteacher in education. Reflecting on their contributions to the development of the competenciesappreciated by contemporary educational paradigms in the integral formation of the learner. Fromexploratory bibliographic research, we tried to find elements that demonstrate the relevance of teachingand its trends to meet the educational needs required nowadays. As a result of the research, we can findsome elements that showus how it is possible to democratize learning through hybrid teaching. Aslong as the right resources and methods are used, we can extend the classroom to any space (physicaland virtual E-learning), transforming it into a meaningful learning environment.
