The article addresses the theme of Inclusive Education and its role in the educational process, highlighting challenges, advances and the importance of teacher training in this context. Throughout the text, the historical origins of inclusion, the struggles against prejudice and resistance, the need for curricular adaptations, and the importance of teacher training to promote quality and equal education for all students, regardless of their special needs, are discussed. Teamwork and the commitment of the whole society are fundamental to the success of this process.
