The present text brings an important reflection on the literacy process of children enrolled in the Municipal Education Network at the time of the pandemic, with the Divina Ribeiro Borges Municipal School, in Cariri do Tocantins, as the place of observation. Literacy and Literacy are the main processes differentiated and highlighted within the theme and therefore, analyzed in light of the difficulties inherent to the teaching and learning process in the Covid-19 Pandemic period in the years 2020-2023. Thus, the research was conducted using the hypothetical-deductive method, starting from a broad idea to reach a specific conclusion. Concluding, therefore, that schools will need to innovate in an attempt to obtain efficient literacy that leads children to the Reading and Writing process capable of transforming an individual's education.
