The work addresses the importance of financial education for young people of school age, highlighting the financial challenges they face and the need for skills for responsible financial management, with the purpose of forming citizens aware of the impact of their actions as individual financial agents in global society . The objective of the study is to evaluate the level of knowledge, attitudes and financial practices among young people in high school. And also explore the importance of financial education for young people; investigate the effectiveness of financial education programs; and highlight the benefits of financial education in both the short and long term. The methodology will be conducted by a 10-question questionnaire, applied to a representative sample of high school students, covering topics such as assessing the level of financial knowledge of young people, managing personal expenses and financial planning. The results will be analyzed through figures, tables and graphs, to identify knowledge gaps, risk behaviors and areas for improvement in the financial education of young participants.
